Electro-jazz fusion is the fresh new sound to come from Manchester-based dance outfit Revelation.
Vocalist/producer Ornette D Clennon and DJ/producer David Ord enter into the music scene with their two track showcase. Revelation’s unique and eclectic blend of music is influenced by jazz, house, soul and electronica; and is performed using the latest advances in music technology.
“This guy’s voice is so powerful it blew the desk inputs when I first recorded him,” states Ord, who fired by his passion for soulful uplifting house music and inspired by today’s production luminaries such as Sandy Rivera, Jamie Liddel and MAW aims to push the boundaries of modern music technology to bring the freshest and funkiest new sounds. Although mainly inspired by jazz and house music, Revelation cannot and do not want to be categorised into one set genre - for their eclectic mix of tracks have cross-genre appeal.
